Thanks, Temi, for your excellent clarification of the sense of freedom - and perhaps courage - that the disciples were given when they received the Holy Spirit.

What about the other symbols for the Holy Spirit (you can see them by pressing the forward arrow)?

I think the symbol of the dove symbolises that the holy spirit brings peace and tranquility. In the old testament after the flood Noah sent a dove to see if the flood was over. The dove brings peace just like the holy spirit does.

I think the symbol of the dove symbolises that the holy spirit brings peace and tranquility. In the old testament after the flood, Noah sent a dove to see if the flood was over. The dove brings peace just like the holy spirit does. It could also symbolise freedom, when a bird i.e a dove flys it is because of freedom. After the holy came upon the discliples they were free to go forth and proclaim the word of GOD which is why the image of a dove would be a good representation of the holy spirit.

I like that idea that the dove could also represent freedom as well as peace ... What freedom does being a Christian give someone?

I think that the end will come soon for those Romans ... I think this week will mark the beginning of the end ... We definitely think Jesus will do something about them. Are you ready for the fight?

Of course he's been performing miracles! My daughter was dead, I tell you, dead! And he said she was just sleeping, and it's amazing, he told her to get up ... and she did! He truly is a special man from God, the Messiah, even, perhaps! I witnessed this, no one can tell a mother that she has not truly known her daughter to be dead - and to be alive! I only wish I could have been in Jerusalem to see the crowds! I'm sure these Romans will not be occupying us for much longer ... Jairus and I believe that Jesus can do great things, including saving us from them.

I don't believe he's really been performing all these miracles. Probably just in the right place at the right time ... And as for the things he's been saying recently, well, let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if the high priest had a word or two to say to him.
