2.3 Homework – 9A and 9G
Homework is due on Monday 26 November.
In the next couple of weeks, we will be looking at other religions, considering such questions as “Why are there so many different religions?”, “What does the Catholic Church have to say about other religions?”, “How can we know if any religion is ‘true’?”, “Do religions cause conflict?”, “What do religions have in common?”, and “What can we learn from other religions?”
Your homework is to choose a world religion other than any denomination of Christianity, and produce a fact sheet / leaflet on that religion.
Some of the topics that you could include:
What is the view of God held by that religion?
How do they worship?
What are their main beliefs?
Describe their place of worship.
Explain how they treat their holy books.
What do they believe about life after death?
What do they believe about other religions?
Your leaflet / fact sheet should also include a task at the end that will help the reader demonstrate what they have learnt through reading your resource.

Remember to include a bibliography that lists the books and websites you consulted to help you complete this task. You can also include conversations with people who have helped you.
